Be Here Now - 5 Steps to Stay With Yourself Through Thick and Thin

I just returned from an excellent week at the Omega Institute, helping Dawson Church with the EFT Practitioner Training program. Consistently, we helped members change restricting emotions and convictions with both EFT Tapping and contemplation. It was a transformative, and from numerous points of view inexplicable, week for every one of us.

What turned out to be so obvious to me (indeed), is the significance of tolerating all sentiments, regardless of how awkward. It's in the acknowledgment of these emotions, that we can change our experience.

In this universe of our own, so frequently the endeavoring takes front seat. How, for instance, will we succeed in the event that we don't make progress toward additional? And the sky is the limit from there? And then some? Thus frequently, when we get 'more', we don't feel the achievement we envisioned.

The issue with endeavoring is that we're oftentimes pushed by an inclination that we're insufficient, or complete, without whatever it is we're taking a stab at. You know the hold back: I'll be glad when___________.

The basic sentiment of deficiency will tail us, until we figure out how to remain with it long enough to change it.

To remain with yourself, to be here now, intends to be available with whatever is going on. Not off later on, seeking after something better. Not back before, wishing things were unique. Here now, regardless of whether it's agreeable, or not.
